Round Table

Lets write something to boost my determination to move forward. I haven't been online for more than 3 days due to broadband problem. What I did last week.
Last Friday, the polymer lab had a meeting whereas the PhD students presenting their research proposals. I have noted several important key points in proposal presentation. I hope I will be ready for my presentation next week.
On the next day, me and Em went to Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) invited by Dr Z to be the repertoire (I guess this is the right word...). A round table meeting organized by Gagasan Pendidikan Melayu Malaysia. The members consists of teachers, lecturers and professors from learning institutions around the country. They were discussing on the issue of abolishment of UPSR and PMR, is it relevent or not to the country. As a result from the meeting, most of the members are disagree to the suggestion of the abolishment of UPSR and PMR as this act would bring bad effects to students from rural ares in the future. Our responsibility was writing down all the main points or ideas expressed by the members.

Alhamdulillah, we managed to do it even though that was our first time doing the job. That was my first visit to PWTC.

Work Extra Hours!

Now I realize taking master means taking a job with unpaid extra hours. Postgraduate won't be as relax as taking degree anymore. The beats won't stop. This is what I chose. I have to keep it up. Development and learning is what I have to do everyday no matter day or night, weekdays or weekends. 'Ikhlas' is the key to successful results. I must always be ready with any circumstances everyday. The learning process might be confusing and heavy. However, I have to manage the time properly, learn what I can learn, keep on moving in full speed. Also, appreciate those around you. They give you support even though you do not realize it. Be a productive worker, researcher, student, and muslim. Love others then they would love you back.

Short of $$$!

I am in a pretty huge problem.$$$! I've used most of my savings for the past 2 months..I have reached the critical state. Actually I though I'll get my salary at the end of this month. However, my friend told me that working with the government doesn't guarantee that. It depends on which date you started your work. You'll get your salary after full 1 month of working. Urgh... I need to pay a lot of things. The house, this broadband..and so forth. I really need to manage my money carefully so that when the bad time occur again in the future, I'll have my own backup.

Well, for the time being I need to survive with the remaining cash till 1 month of working hour. At this point, that is 1 weeks, so another 3 weeks.

No new shoes! No new dress! No shopping! Spend your money according to your simple needs. Be grateful for what you already have.
